Meet the Team

Ryan Gahagan, President

Ryan is the Owner and Managing Member of Treadwood LLC. He has been consulting for various energy development projects in the New England area since 2012, working alongside several clients, regulatory agencies, NGOs, utilities, energy developers, and engineering, permitting and construction consultants. 

Ryan is also a developer of the Loring Energy Projects, based on the assets and resources of the former Loring Air Force base in Limestone, ME.

Ryan was born in Maine and has lived in Winthrop, (Indianapolis, IN), Sebago, Castle Hill, Presque Isle, (Gloucester, MA), (Los Angeles, CA), Sinclair, and Bar Harbor. He Graduated with a BA in Communications from Gordon College in Wehnam, Massachusetts, in 2002, and he currently splits his time between Portland and his family farm/camp in Aroostook County.

Aaron Svedlow, Vice President

Aaron is the Owner and President of North Light Energy LLC and has developed and permitted more than 1 GW of solar and wind across the U.S., including over 500 MW in New England. North Light Energy directs in-house development of new DESRI projects in the Northeast.

Previously, Aaron was Director of Development for NextEra Energy Resources, LLC in New England, Vice President of Permitting at Ranger Solar LLC and project director at Tetra Tech, Inc. He holds a B.S. from the University of New Hampshire, and an M.S. from the University of Southern Maine.

Aaron is a former Town Councilor - Falmouth, Maine, a former president of the Maine Chapter of The Wildlife Society, and previously served on the executive board of the Maine Renewable Energy Foundation.

Maine Standard BioFuels, of Portland Maine, is a biorefinery that collects used cooking oil and recycles it into a variety of bio-based products, including biodiesel, bioheat, and their Wicked Strong family of cleaners.

MSB has signed a Letter of Intent to provide renewable marine diesel dockside and create a new bioheat terminal to expand service from Brunswick to Camden.

Sevee & Maher Engineers, Inc. (SME) of Cumberland Maine, is an accomplished team of experienced and driven professionals combining strong technical expertise in hydrogeology and environmental, civil, wastewater, geotechnical, and chemical engineering with innovative technologies.

SME is providing environmental engineering and consulting services for the MSRC project.
